What is information technology management?

IT management is the discipline by which all the information technology resources of a company are managed according to its needs and priorities. Here, we can include tangible investments, such as hardware, software, data (considering the impacts of LGPD), networks and data center facilities, in addition to the team hired to maintain them.

Managing this responsibility within a company involves many basic functions, such as budget, staff, change management and organization and control. In addition to these, there are other aspects unique to the technology, such as software design, network planning, technical support, etc.
